Best Time to Charter A Yacht In Greenland

Greenland is a year-round destination, with different seasons offering unique experiences. The primary charter season in Greenland starts in late April, continues through the summer months and finishes in late September/early October. The winter season begins in December and runs until April.

 

The Winter (December – April) is perfect for exploring the frozen Nuuk fjord and seeing the Northern lights.

 

Spring (April – June) is ideal for skiing expeditions and heli-skiing.

Experience summer activities like kayaking among glaciers and witnessing the Midnight Sun in Greenland.

 

Summer (June – August) During the summer months, a boat charter can take you to many places that are inaccessible during the early months, from Scoresby Sund in East Greenland to Disko Bay in West Greenland.
